What do you do? I want to know if you use them consciously (plan ahead), or do you just play them out of nowhere? |

know matter what genre of music your improvising over any licks you know you could always plan ahead when to use them but... i find that if you plan plan and plan it can get stressful and it can really be avoided by just playing what you feel and not thinking about it. if you have trouble doing that than you could be worried about what will result in playing something non prepared, but you have to remember you can always try again with just playing whatever you feel at the moment because after all the point is to make something with your own sound. Not sure if that helps at all but thats my take on it. |
