Hello guys. Wondering what scale my guitarhero of all time Slash use. I've been looking alot at pentatonic but i think he uses a different scale? anyone ? :-) |

Slash probably doesn't use just one scale. He probably uses a variety of scales to fit whatever song he is playing at that moment. That being said, did you have a specific song in mind? |

I'm assuming he means Sweet Child O'Mine, as most people who hear that song are tickled by the fantastic use of the E Harmonic Minor Scale and the Aeolian, with the fast build up in the song being played in Mixolydian mode 1
'E Harmonic Minor Scale'. Does that go with the key of Gb which the song is in?

Well you have to keep in mind the Slash tunes his guitar down a haf step on all of his recorded songs 1
