Cleartune is fine also. I've had no issues with it so far

Yes I have. The free one is pretty good, but requires no background noise in the room, and has to be held very close to the guitar. You cannnnnn get pretty expensive with the tuning apps, but the free one does work pretttty good.

Which free one?

I use GuitarToolkit. It is an excellent little tuner and it works with the mic built into the phone. It also comes with a metronome, scales and chords. I would recommend it to any guitarist with an iPhone.

I agree with tomk, the Guitar Toolkit is indispensible, has chord lookup (with reverse) and scales. I use it all the time while practicing.
