Many of those chords are barre chords. You use your index finger to hold down several strings at once and your other fingers to fret the remaining notes. Only 4 fingers and some practice required. |

The lower end needs to be barred with your index finger (pointer finger) at the same time while your other fingers form the shape. So in the top example of the link you provided (Cm) your index finger would barre accross the 3rd fret (leave the bottom E string though, you don't play that). Your middle finger goes to the 4th fret on the B string, pinky finger on the 5th fret G string, and ring finger on the 5th fret A string. Hope this helps! |
