what chord can replace the f chord

Question

What chord can replace the f chord? =) The f chord takes too long to switch from am7. I need an easier chord that sounds the same that doesnt take forever to switch lol thx!!

I presume you are playing with capo on first? The way I play Am to F is quite simple with the following tabs:

e:--------1--
B:--2-----1--
G:--3-----2--
D:--3-----3--
A:-----------
E:-----------

Keep practicing the chord change and it will become quicker.

The first chord looks like a typo (vs. 2-2-1). And what do you mean about the capo?

Yep sorry i meant Am as (0-1-2-2-0-0) I meant you are playing the song with the capo on the first fret? I have the tabs for that song from Ultimate Guitar (i think) and it plays it with capo on the first.

Maybe Fmaj7, you've to move only two fingers

That's an Amaj7-Fmaj7. Given the context, it seems likely the poster meant Amin7.
