What equipment do I need to buy to sound like Eric Clapton did in the 60's. Specifically, I would like to reproduce the full rounded out bluesy tone that he had in John Mayall and the Blues Breakers.

Clapton played a Les Paul in the Bluesbreakers.
And according to wikipedia he used a standard Marshall amp. So there you go, guitar straight into amp, volume cranked.

clapton plays with a slight distortion and remember he is a classic blues guitarist so always add a little feel to your picks!
